I spent the past weekend in Kansas at the midwest regional staff retreat. It was such a great time! I got to visit the Wichita ministry for a day, spend lots of time meeting with leadership discussing details about my move, my training in Wichita, and my role in ministry in St. Louis. I also got to hang out A LOT with my new friends, Jason and Nancy Phelps, who are joining staff in St. Louis with me! It was so fun to reconnect with the current staff teams in Wichita and St. Louis and meet all the other staff from the midwest ministries.
I CANT WAIT TO MOVE!!!
I am still praying for all my support to be committed by the end of October. I'll be in Blacksburg this weekend to meet with my homegroup and the missions committee at BCF, my college church, and discuss my support needs. I will also take a trip to St. Louis in early November to meet with some interested churches there. We are praying for me to be able to move to Wichita mid-November!!!
