Recent Highlights

This week I noticed pumpkin patches appearing on roadsides and in church yards all around town. This makes me happy. I LOVE fall and pumpkin patches are truly the first sign of its arrival. They remind me of when I was 5 and my parents took me and my best friend to the pumpkin patch to choose our pumpkins for carving. I still look forward to carving pumpkins... yay for fall!
Tomorrow I am heading out to Wichita, KS for the midwest regional staff retreat! I am very excited! When I come back I will be less than a month from my proposed deadline of having all my support raised by November and moving.
Tonight Christy and I bought two tickets to the VT homecoming game on e-bay. Neither of us has ever pruchased anything on e-bay before and we are anxious to have the tickets in hand.
Next week I will be in Blacksburg for the game and other meetings. I can't wait. Christy and I have decided to be cheesy alums who do all the typical alum-type things, like attending the homecoming parade, going to "the walk" before the game, eating at our fave old hangouts, and buying up all new merchandise in the bookstore.
