Ready.

Winter was wonderful. Lots of snow... the fluffy kind, the slushy kind, the slick kind, the powdery kind. It was perfect for all the things I love about the blustery season... sweaters & scarves, hot cocoa, snuggling under piles of blankets.
But, Spring will soon be upon us. Perhaps the bounce in our steps will be from the lighter load we carry without our coats. Looking forward to taking long walks in the park again. And later sunsets. And childhood playtime returning outdoors. And watching the world come back to life as trees bud and flowers bloom.
I'm ready.
Not too much too soon, though, please.
Summer is a sticky heatwave.
That I am not prepared for.
