More August Fun

The last couple of weeks have been filled with vacations, visits with family, memorable moments, and tons of good times:

Sanibel Island Family Vacation- the first 24 hours were great... until I ate that burrito and spent the rest of the trip sick with food poisoning!

Don’t my parents fit in well at the beach?

We spent A LONG time in the 90 degree water.

When you pose with a pirate statue you have to say, "Arrrrrrr." Making the hand motion helps it not feel so silly

Cardinals Baseball- more home runs than I can remember!

My friend Megan got us great tickets! If only she could have requested cooler temperatures, too.

Grant's Farm with my parents- so much fun!

Have you ever hand-fed a camel? My mom and I have!

Anheuser-Busch keeps their Clydesdales at Grant's Farm. We could have posed with a live animal, but someone went to all the trouble of making this statue and we didn't want the fake horse to feel left out...

Baptism at the Meramec River
- such a great day!

Before
During
After
I think the only question I asked was, "How long should I hold my breath?"

Don't worry, even in the midst of all the fun we still had plenty of time for ministry. Over the weekend World Impact St. Louis set up a table at a local carnival to get the word out about the programs we offer to the community. It was so exciting to ask people if they had ever heard of us and hear them answer, "Yes!"
