A puppy update

I have taken one step closer to getting a puppy of my very own. I found a website that advertises adopt-able pets in your area. I also took an online quiz to help me determine the best breed for my situation, and I found an article that convinced me it is better to have a girl dog than a boy dog.

I am most interested right now in a beagle-labrador retriever mix. In fact, I have been searching through pictures of puppies online and found this one a few days ago and decided she is about the cutest dog ever, but I am not ready for her quite yet. I also bought a book all about getting a puppy. It covers everything from choosing your breed to preparing your house to how to train your dog how to sit/stay, heel, come, and attack. Just kidding. No attack command. (But I might look into that...)


While she is still small I am thinking a sweater like this one would be too cute on her. But it is kinda expensive, so mabye she will have to go naked. I did find a fabulous VT Hokie dog collar that's more affordable and I am considering ordering now so that I will have it as soon as I get my puppy. (Especially since football season is fast-approaching.)

I can't wait. For the puppy and for the football. Fall is just gonna be the best ever this year.
