One Day Road Trip

Last Saturday I was able to escape from the city for a few hours when I jumped in the car with some friends and headed to Van Buren, Missouri.
It was the perfect summer getaway! We ended up at the riverfront and swam most of the afternoon. It was wonderful.
Other than the river, I see no reason to go back to Van Buren, but at least if anyone ever asks, I can say I've been there.
