Seasonal Celebrations: SNOW!

Winter weather came to St. Louis over the weekend. It was the best kind of snowfall and Lexie and I were both very excited to see our yard covered with white perfection. Overall it seems we got about 7 inches! They say St. Louis hasn't had this much snow in December since 2000.

Lexie loves to play in the snow and bounds quickly down the steps every time I open the door!








And yes, that is her tongue... apparently she likes the way snow tastes, too!



After a day in the snow Lexie modeled for pictures in front of our Christmas tree. She is doing much better this year at leaving the tree, the ornaments, the tree skirt, and the presents alone as commanded.


And obviously our obedience training paid off since I was able to convince her to sit & stay while she posed for the camera!
