Let the countdown begin...

Only 22 days to kickoff! I can't wait to see my Hokies return to the field for their first game on September 1st. If you want to keep up with the countdown head over to the VT Football website here. While you're there you can write all the dates for this season's games in your planner... just like I did today!

There is no question that this season will be unlike any other in Hokie history. I agree with Sean Glennon's recent statement,

"Football is just a game. And to be practicing again is great. But there is not going to be anything better for the Blacksburg community than a Virginia Tech football game."

According to the preseason rankings we are headed for the top 10 this year and expected to take the ACC championship once again. And I just love that this recent SI article pinned the title "America's Team" on my Hokies.

I will just have to find a local place with ESPN so I can be sure not to miss a single moment of this season!
