My heart is in Blacksburg

It is difficult to be so far away from Blacksburg during this time. When you become a Hokie you form an indescribable bond to that small town and that big school.

So many people need prayer right now. I have heard from my friends who minister to students through Campus Crusade for Christ that at least three of the known victims were part of Crusade. This makes all of the terror even more difficult to comprehend. Please pray for those student ministers as they counsel, cry with, and come alongside so many who are hurting.

So far only one name has been recognizable to me, a professor I had a class with as a sophomore. I hope that as the full list of victims becomes available I will not see any more familiar names.
