Long time no update

Last weekend my parents came to visit me for Easter. We had a great time, and I even managed to put them to work! My dad said something about how now that I am a volunteer coordinator I see everyone as potential workers! It's true. My parents helped me finish painting and setting up my office and they did a great job.
Don't worry, we also played a lot over the weekend. STL has the best zoo and we spent a beautiful Saturday there with about a million other people who live here! It was crowded but it was great fun, too!

This past weekend was another busy one. We had a volunteer group come in Friday night to spend the weekend serving with us. They are a local group of individuals from St. Louis who are on fire for the Lord and eager to serve Him and make Him known in our community! Their excitement is contagious and I had so much fun working alongside them and reaching out to our neighbors with them. A couple of the guys in the group are music artists, you can read more about them and their ministries by clicking on their names: Flame, Json, J.R.
