Take me to St. Louis!

That's right, it is finally moving time!

After visiting STL last week I came home with word that I could move for real! I have been busily packing my life away in cardboard boxes all this week with plans to drive to St. Louis for good this coming Saturday, Jan 28th!!!

It is amazing how much stuff you can accumulate... my room is a disaster as I have been trying to figure out how to prioritize the first car-load of boxes.

As for living arrangements in St. Louis, keep praying! I will start out living with another staff couple in their spare bedroom while we work on creating an apartment space next door to them in the World Impact Center, pictured here. That, too, will be temporary housing.
We are really planning for me to live in a house that needs extensive remodeling/repair work. Hopefully we can finish all the work there in about six months with the help of some volunteer groups this spring.

My job description is also still a work in progress, but we have determined it will include managing construction projects in and out of the building, coordinating volunteer groups, and assisting with administrative detail for the ministry.
I will also spend a portion of my time in "direct ministry" assignments, such as mentoring youth from the church. Please pray for wisdom as we hammer out the details as to how my time should be spent.

While my support has been growing steadily in the past months, I am still under my goal of $1426 in pledges per month. I will continue to work on meeting with individuals and churches who would like to join my support team once I am in St. Louis. Please continue to pray for new supporters for me.

My most recent prayer letter was mailed yesterday and includes more details, including my new contact info. If you don't get one, let me know.
